About Pegasus Staff Services Ltd

Pegasus Staff Services Ltd are an independent local agency who have been employing contract drivers for clients throughout the East Midlands since 1989. Between them, eight people staff four offices based in Derby, Coalville, Burton Upon Trent and Mansfield. If you were to ask any Pegasus driver why they have remained with the same agency for so long, they would probably answer along these lines:

Attentive and interested.

Every member of the operations staff ensures that the drivers on their team are treated as people, not simply numbers on an index card. The staff at Pegasus recognise that the drivers are the people who pay their wages and accord them the respect and attention they deserve. Pegasus has many drivers on the books, yet each individual can be assured of a personal service at all times. This is because we have a low turnover of office staff, who all communicate effectively with each other. We know how annoying it is to have a faceless response when trying to contact someone with an important issue, which is why the same telephone number is available 24 hours per day, three hundred and sixty five days per year. Pegasus don't have receptionists or message handling, so drivers can speak to their usual contact at any time of the day or night for out of hours emergency issues.

Responsive and fair.

If we say we will contact you to update you over something, we will. You can rest assured that we will NOT contact you to tell you that nothing is happening, so all we ask is that drivers keep us informed of their availability. We will pay our drivers on time, at the agreed rate, for the hours, which they have worked. All we ask is that they report for work at the agreed time and provide the client with services of a true professional driver.
